fitness tips
Bench press form is essential and more.
tip #7 - bench press form
Never flatten your back on the bench when pressing. Lift your hips then hug the bench with your upper back (shoulder blades), maintain a strong core, lower your hips and stay in that position. Using this proper form when bench pressing allows for greater press power, keeps your shoulders stable throughout the workout and also reduces the risk of injuring your shoulder.*
tip #8 - burpees
Burn fat using your own body weight and work out your entire body with Burpees. Adding a push up to your Burpees helps build upper body strength. To properly perform this exercise first bend at your hips and knees and squat with hands on the floor, kick your legs back to a push up position, do a push up, immediately reverse the move, jumping as you rise from the squat, when you land on your feet, repeat.*
tip #9 - Confuse your muscles
Do not stick to the same body part or total body workout when exercising. Changing it up challenges your muscles to react and respond to new demands. For example, there are many innovative ways to train your biceps like for instance rotating the dumbbell as you curl or using bands for constant resistance. Switching up the workout will help you build stronger muscles, add more definition and tone to your physique; improving on muscles you thought your never had.*
